Glockenspiel
Glockenspiel (Marienplatz, Munich) – this century-old carillon is the attraction of the tower located at the new town hall in the center of Munich. Like clockwork – at 11 am, 12 Noon and 5 pm, the Glockenspiel chimes and activates 32 life-size figures that reenact various historical Bavarian events (such as the wedding festival of Renata von Lothringen and Wilhelm V — founder of the Hofbräu brewery).
