Austernkeller

Austernkeller
Austernkeller (Stollbergstrasse 11, Munich) – “Austernkeller” is German for “oyster cellar”, a fitting name for this restaurant, since it serves mainly seafood (including oysters). In keeping with the region, the décor is still Bavarian, while the items served range from Maryland-style crab cakes, to sesame-encrusted scampi, lobster thermidor, and foie gras with glazed apple and red-wine sauce. Seafood lovers tend to order the shellfish platter with fresh oysters, mussels, clams, scampi, and sea snails.
